I read If We Were Villains a while ago and wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but my rating in my mind has gone up so much since reading it. I think about that book ALL THE TIME.

i finished "educated" a couple of days ago, and i was absolutely blown away by tara westover's resilience and ability to overcome years of abuse and indoctrination. it's a hard read, but it's definitely going to be a book i recommend to people forever :)) i hope you like it, des!

The way you described the seven year split reminded me of Meg Cabot’s The Mediator series. Same thing, this girl can see dead people, moves into an old house and finds down that there’s someone living there from the 1800’s. Gosh, I read those books over a decade ago and I still remember scenes from it. So good!

Also - unpopular opinion - I think the Truly Devious series is infinitely better than Hawthorne Games series. I am super curious about The Naturals now.
