2020 Cadillac XT6 Sport Review

CarProUSA Radio Show host Jerry Reynolds reviews the first-ever 2020 Cadillac XT6. It slots beneath the Escalade. Our test model is the upper Sport trim.

The 3-row 2020 Cadillac XT6 was created to fill a hole between the XT5 SUV which doesn’t have a 3rd row seat, and the huge Escalade, which is expensive and too large for many.

From the outside, the XT6 has the signature Cadillac look with the vertical LED lights in the front, 21” wheels, a rear spoiler, and a large grill that gives the XT6 an aggressive look.

Pop the hood and you’ll find the very proven 3.6-liter V6 putting out 310-horses that is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission that has very responsive shift paddles. XT6 comes standard with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is optional.

This CUV has really grown on me. It looks so good in all black going down the street.

A very nice alternative to the overly large and overpriced Escalade. Thanks, Jerry.

Profile looks like a Subaru Ascent. Looks pretty plain Jane, doesn't look like a luxury brand SUV
