2020 Cadillac XT6 Review | LESS Than Stellar

Показать описание
With the 2020 XT6 being an all-new 3 row SUV from Cadillac...it had a lot riding on it. Cadillac has a loyal following that looks for the typical Cadillac experience of comfort and luxury. Cadillac supplies a lot of what you would expect, but left things a little less than desirable for a vehicle of this price and the top Premium Luxury trim. The 2020 Cadillac XT6 still has a quiet and refined driving experience, but it doesn't quite punch the high end ticket that I expected; however, it should please many looking in this class. If you want the best of what Cadillac offers, you'll need to pony up a lot of extra money for the 2021 Escalade.

What did you think of the XT6? As you could tell, I felt like Cadillac didn't put their best effort into this for every aspect, but overall it's a very nice SUV and drives nice for a 3 row SUV. However, if you were expecting the latest tech and fancy features..you'll need to pony up some extra $$$ for the 2021 Escalade.
*Thanks for watching and take care!*

They did a great job with this design. The XT6’s exterior lighting is absolutely gorgeous at night.

I just ordered a 2022 XT6 Premium Luxury last week. I'm looking forward to getting it in a couple of months.

Appreciate the honesty review. They nailed 50% of the car and bean counters castrated the other 50% of it. I imagine second gen in 5 years will be what this should have been.

I can see the NIGHT-VISION mode comes in handy for ghost hunters who wants to see things they can’t see at night

We got a 2020 Premium Luxury with heads up display and air conditioned seats. The seats are very comfortable compared to our 2018 Audi Q7. We like the looks of the new Cadillac horizontal headlights and grille over the Audi, Acura, Lincoln, and Volvo brands especially for the price.
Everything we looked at new and used costs more money.

It's very nice. I like the "night vision view" safety feature. You know me...RDX all day. Thank you my friend.

Your reviews are good. Specially front seats and dash details are awesome.
The camera quality is true 4k and best part is stable and not like other reviewers where eyes are tired to stay focused to see dash and interiors.

One feedback though.
In all your 3 row cars reviews.. there is no mention about leg space between 2nd row and 3rd row.
Example: you can say the leg space between 2nd to 3rd row is 40cm bla bla.
That helps to compare tech specs by watching your review itself...
Your height is good decent enough to compare but it is difficult to judge like that unless you have numbers to compare.
Thank you and keep up your good work

Very good review as always. Stay safe my friend. My wife says I still can’t get any new autos. 😰. I like the digital rear view. Love pano sunroofs. Infrared is mind blowing.

It's pretty shocking that adaptive cruise control isn't standard at this price point. It's standard on every model of Hyundai and KIA.

I think Cadillac is my kind of vehicle.

I sure like caddy's though, wish I would have kept my 91 sedan DeVille

IMO, front looks good, side is plain, back has it's own look compared to other GM three row crossovers, except the taillights ain't to different from the GMC style. Just missing the bottom portion to not be C shaped. Even the new 2021 Escalade shares some of its luxury features with its lesser siblings, and crossover cousins. The shifter in the 2021 Escalde, is from the current Buick Enclave. I would wait for the next gen Escalade, but honestly, I would go middle and just get the 2021 Yukon Denali.

I think the XT6 vs the Escalade presents a false choice. A better comparison would be the XT6 vs the Lincoln Aviator. And in that comparison the Lincoln looks to be a much better choice.

I like the Escalade better especially the 6.2.

Did you say 2 WAY LUMBAR in GM’s TOP OF THE LINE CADILLAC???? That gauge screen looks very simlar to my 2017 Impala. I think Cadillac’s mission is still wishy washy (haven’t said that since I was a kid) How did I miss this Video Nolan? I think the SUPER CRUISE when it comes out on this model will help sell it. I hear Super Cruise is coming to 23 Models in GM’s portfolio by 2021. And now Supercruise can Lane Change simlar to Tesla but Super Cruise IS Actually Hands Free.

Definitely should be a better vehicle, but it’s crazy how many of these I see in the Houston area as opposed to the new Lincoln Aviator. I guess it’s not as bad as one thinks...💁🏻‍♂️

Gosh when I see this I immediately think Chevy traverse, huh

Massive disappointment.
-Towing capabilities below competition
-HP below competition
-Boring interior with analog gauges
-Infotainment and tech mediocre when compared to Lincoln or even Korean SUVs
-Exterior is very generic

Cadillac was very lazy with this design choice and as a fan of American made cars, I'm sorry but this one falls short. Go Lincoln Aviator!!! If not wanting Luxury, the Palisade Limited is a class ahead!!
