Summary:
1. Rejuvenates hair
Have you heard of a fruit that can act as a shield for your colored hair? That's totally weird. It's always chemicals that protect treated or colored hair. But dragon fruit might do the trick.

2. Loaded with fiber
There is no feeling more satisfying than an empty gut in the morning. With so much refined food in our diet, it’s practically impossible for digested food to move forward in the colon.

3. Fights diabetes
Diabetics often are left with limited fruit choices. Many fruits have the potential to mess up blood glucose and are best avoided.

4. Fights cancer
You can get actual health and wellness in a cup of dragon fruit. The bright-colored fruit is loaded with phytonutrients, flavonoids, and antioxidants.

5. Lowers cholesterol
Do you still snack on processed foods that claim to have low saturated fat? You need a real healthy switch.

6. Relieves Arthritis
This fruit has started gaining some serious recognition as an anti-inflammatory. Arthritis is inflammation of the joints.

7. Fights aging skin.
Some are blessed with glowing healthy skin. But premature skin aging can make your skin dull and old.

8. Supports bone health
You can find potassium, calcium, and magnesium in this fruit which are essential for strong bones.

9. A must-have during pregnancy
The commonest problem that to-be mums face is nausea and vomiting. The refreshing fruit can go easy on your tummy without making you want to throw up.

I’m eating an yellow dragon fruit (from Ecuador) I’ve never had it before and had to look up how to cut one Taste super sweet but nothing compares the flavor to Pitayas from Mexico!! Especially freshly harvested. When i was a little girl my mom used to take me to the mountain to cut them. The best tasting ones are the ripe ones that have opened up naturally and had a chance for the sun to scorch/toast the top 🤤

I’m super sensitive to citrus and I could feel the zap of energy and the fiber moving my bowls like a mini adrenaline rush

Yellow dragon fruit is the best. Very sweet.

If you're in America, or another country where they're less common, it's safer to go with yellow dragon fruit, as they're naturally sweeter. Red dragonfruit, when properly ripened, are very good, but it's hard to tell if it's ripe because the outer skin is very tough and doesn't soften as much as the inside.

They pull it to early and I feel bad for people who buy it at grocery stores in US because when it's picked it stops getting sweet and the pick it when it's only 30 percent ripe. The skin color is still greenish when it's picked. That continues to change color but inside fruit stays bland at that point lol. It's BS for the price we pay too
