so touching to see that when she's not busy being Queen, she's being a mother/grandmother to her family💙💙

The Queen, much respected around the world. A woman devoted her life for the love of her country. Her strength, a strong leader even through the toughest times. "Wow 70 years of service, " A mom, grandmom which her family adored. How fitting as a beautiful 🌈 appears for a farewell to the Queen

Her family’s testimonials to her life and impact were so touching - especially Beatrice and William.

My thoughts are with the Royal Family at this very difficult time. The Queen was an amazing inspiration and will be remembered for her incredible years of service to this country. Rest in peace, Your Majesty.

It's been 25 years since I've lost my beloved grandmother and it still hurts so much. I wish I would have had her in my life for more than just 11 years.

I lost my grandmother in 1995 and it hurts still to this day. I'm 56 years old now, I was her favorite and she was my surrogate mother. I always admired the Queen and she always reminded me of my grandmother who I hold so dear to my heart. There isn't a day that goes by (especially Xmas) that I miss her so much. Rest easy Elizabeth. May god keep you safe.

I lost both of my grandma’s only 9 months apart. My Grams & Queen Elizabeth II were a year apart in age. I was so lucky to have my grandparents in my life, all 4 of them. How special was it for her great-grandchildren to have lasting memories of her.

I might of not be British or English but my thoughts and prayers are with her family and country. She truly was an inspiring woman with resilience and courage.

No institution, city, monarchy, whatever, should expect to be free from the scrutiny of those who give it their loyalty and support. Not to mention those who don't. But we are all part of the same fabric of our national society. And that scrutiny by one part of another can be just as effective if it is made with a touch of gentleness, good humor, and understanding. - Queen Elizabeth II

Even as a American I hold her in high esteem she was a lovely lady, and an amazing Queen. She may not have any real impact on my life but I loved her for how honest she was. God bless the Queen and may she live on in history.

Her Majesty undertook her final duty a mere 48 hours before she died. From the age of 25, when she became Queen until the age of 96, she served her Nation. A truly amazing lifetime of duty. Her rest is well earned. I am happy for her that her "end of life" was swift. The gates of Heaven swung open to welcome her.

She was committed to this life of never-ending service through no choice of her own, and she just crushed it. Amazing woman, just amazing.

Regardless of what you may think, she was still a mother and grandmother to her family.

My grandma taught me to play cards too & used to play w us grandkids. That story just personifies how deep down, all families are the same. After my grandmothers had passed, I even started looking to the Queen as a grandma figure cause she resembled one of my grandmas. I may be American, but Im going to miss her as if she was my sovereign.
