The town is paradise, but has in a lot of ways become a ghost town.

Thank you all for keeping us updated, I have family in Florida. They’re older it’s been a battle. People seem to forget that life is not the same anymore. You do an amazing job with your videos. My grandkids think you’re amazing. And I do too. All the people that you’ve helped, during this crazy storm, you might not hear from them, but I thank you. Natural disasters are terrifying and horrible and they decimate the most important thing there is: our community and the people around us, friends, family, loved ones, neighbors, all of them. I'm from Jersey and I remember seeing the damage Sandy did first hand, and so my heart goes out to you homie. Keep killing it and making these videos, even if people hate, it's important to speak for the things you care about. My house in Venice is destroyed lost most of my stuff, on the bright side it is impressive how fast Florida bounces back i don’t know if any other state that can get up on there feet after catastrophic damage like we get down here. A lot to do with the community I like the positivity you push into the community after these storms me and my friends do the same in our town

Spent this morning volunteering to clean up Madeira because it is still a bit of a shit show, especially with the permit problems. Went up Gulf to Clearwater last week and it is still heartbreaking to see. I am glad you guys made it and it really does bring the community together.

Out here in Lake Sarasota, about 13 miles inland and at 40' elevation, we only had some minor tree damage from the 2024 storms... I'm a 45 year old, lifelong, born and raised Sarasota, Florida resident and have seen a lot of storms... Thanks for sharing... Keep up your awesomeness...!

Hey Jack, First of all thank you for the update on your amazing home town, I visit to Clearwater Beach often and would love to see how the main strip shops are doing like We the Pizza and Hogans! I havent found much on We The Pizza so the update would be cool.
