Hero levels nowadays feel SO BAD….
It’s annoying and takes FOREVER also the fact that hero’s can’t be used during it makes it 10 times worse

They REALLY need to make upgrading heroes possible without using a builder slot. It takes so long to upgrade heroes compared to everything else and with hero levels fading in relevancy this would make it less punishing to actually attempt to upgrade. Also they need to increase the storage capacity for magic items.

I’m halfway to maxing town hall 13 and I’ll never rush. The feeling of maxing your town hall and being able to move forward with nothing left to upgrade is amazing. Every new feature like the grand warden, royal champion and siege machines feel extremely rewarding, I feel like I earned those features. I’m getting pets in a few months and I’m extremely excited. It’s the final huge feature of clash of clans so far and getting there with fully leveled up heroes and defenses will be awesome. I can’t imagine getting to th17 and having 10 years of upgrades to do. There’s no way I would keep playing the game when I know there’s no more progression, just catching up to everything I skipped.

6:20 thats why supercell is brought ati-rushing updates, like to go from th16 to 17 you need max level cannons, archers and Eagle (for merging)

1:54 is literally the most outrageous claim I've ever heard. If I saw a base like that, I think I could 3 star it with just my heroes.

Yeah but when your town hall 17 when town hall 14 walls and defenses it honesty looks ugly. Now nothing beats a maxed town hall no matter what level, it’s always beautiful

Best approach is a mix between the two, rush a few levels, than max it out. I had a maxed TH 14, mostly upgraded TH 15 and decided to rush to TH 17. It comes with the benefits of having all the new stuff to play, better value for magic items, helps reaching max level faster, better armys and heroes... but it's still managable to max out your base. Realisticly if you go one town hall at a time, most players will never be maxed level

I max out everything before I advance to the next TH. I’m very close to a maxed out TH14.

i think the new hero makes it easy to max out heros. now there is an extra hero to use while 1 hero is upgrading. i used ti only upgrade heros with books because i needed them in attacks. now i can always have a hero upgrading

There are a couple of issues with your theories. A level one king has 1440 hitpoints, a level 100 king has 12000 hit points, whilst equipment when used may give a boost to health recovery, it is a misnomer that low heroes are as useful as max heroes. In fact it is significantly weaker.

Another issue is rushing without upgradings defences. In cwl we often get mismatches, and have to attack 16 or 17's with th13, a rushed base folds like a house of cards.

I would advise anyone considering to rush to th17 to consider all factors.

I rushed up to th16, and my overall base is like a th13. My best co-leader, who has been in my clan for 3 years, recently left, one of the reasons being he says I don't give a good example as a leader because my base is rushed. Maybe he overreacted, but i decided not to rush to th17. But a good tip to save quite a bit of time is only max the troops that you use instead of all of them, and I only use dragons (another reason he left, said using only dragons is horrible) so I'll save A LOT of time lol💪😎

As a pro rusher gone from max th5 to th rush 16 in 3-4 months. Hammer jam and magic items helped a lot. But i hate maxing to merge defenses. I think it'll take me more time to go from th16 to th17 than it took to reach 16.
