The out the door price is the result of rebates...

Totally right sir. I worked on a dealer and we did start telling the rebates from manufacturer and company as a way to entice buyers. Still, no one asked about them, and although it wasn’t advertised, much more like a verbal statement, people were always asking about mark-up and OTD prices. Car shopping should be about seeing options around.

I will stay on point with the OTD until you agree to it. I will not talk about anything else with you. Why would i ?If any other savings are to be had i will discuss those options during the OTD period. I already have my rate and amount pre approved by my lender who have already seen the car.
So you wanna sell the car or not? I will dictate and decide what I will and will not do. If want to play games with the OTD then good day for you are not the only game in town. I'll take my great credit and strong backing lenders somewhere else.

Best deal I ever got on a used car was at Auto Nation with a set price, no negotiating. Then paid cash and did not buy anything the finance manager was selling.

I’ll definitely going to be using this when I look for my new car. 💐🙌🏼

This has absolutely zero to do with monthly payments. There was no reason to mention that. And the lack of rebates will be visible in the out the door price. You can ask about all the rebates you want, and make them aware of all the rebates you want, but you have to look at the out the door price to make sure you’re getting those rebates.

Watch that finance manager with extended warranty bullspit, he'll add the money you took off price, right back on it.

What about a used car you're purchasing for cash?

So do your research and find the rebates first then you still concentrate on the OTD price with that information.

Deshon I have to disagree on this one. The monthly payment is a reflection of the OTD price and the financing rate applied to this. If you negotiate a monthly payment then what if you get the payment and extend the term? You pay more overall.

SOMEONE HELP ME. Okay so this guy recently listed one of my dream cars for only 9, 650 as a new year’s holiday deal. However I didn’t have the cash that day ! The deal is since past and back to the 11, 650 price. 😢 Can I somehow negotiate that holiday price ? Because if he was willing to let it go for that much then it shouldn’t be a problem selling me the car at that price ? I just dont know how to bring it up or negotiate it with him. And scared they’ll tell me no. HOW TO CONVINCE HIM PLEASE I NEED THIS CAR
