It works both ways. You have the right to refuse to go through the security check at the airport. They (airline) have the right - and they will - to refuse you boarding pass. See how it works?

Good luck with the masks off while eating in such a confined space with people so close together. Evidence shows COVID transmission can occur indoors within 3-4 feet - especially in an aircraft. In the acute care hospital where I work, there were staff who got COVID from eating near each other, before guidelines were updated mandating 6 feet apart while eating.
