Probably 50% of the motorists driving home from work in San Jose northbound on the 680 say something along those lines every day.

I am a resident from CA and I see nothing wrong with this story.

LOL I live in the Bay Area. This guy is spot on. Not even mad because it’s so true.

And the fact that this is being investigated is what is wrong with our federal government

I totally get it, I've tried to book a flight to Hawaii and everyone goes through cali, Oregon or Seattle and I'm not going to ever book flights that go through those places.

Sounds like half the good ol' boys I work with and hang around with. Wouldn't bother me to have this dude as my pilot.

This wouldn’t have gotten any attention if it wasn’t for the profanity.

It’s the swearing over radio communications that’s getting him in trouble here.

Any pilot whose mind is occupied with a rant like that, rather than doing his job of controlling/monitoring the airplane (whether in the air or on the ground) is a significant danger to his passengers as well as anyone else in the vicinity. It is a gross violation The sterile cockpit rule was established by the FAA back in 1981 precisely because multiple accidents have been caused by distracted cockpit crews. The FAA will likely serious action in this case. SWA also most evaluate the risk he poses with his lack of professional discipline.

Who cares? Is he a good pilot with a clean and safe flight record ?
If only we could hear what everybody was thinking, from our school bus driver to the surgeon performing his 500th appendectomy, silly to waste time on this shite

I have no idea what his rant was about. He doesn’t like Hyundai’s because they’re too slow?

There's nothing to investigate the man called a spade of spade and that's it.

Human like anyone one of us. Speaking his mind, obviously not intentional to the cabin or to whom ever. I’m more concerned about a pilot getting me where I need to go safely.

It was not intentional, stuck mics happen often. Was he taxiing, or just getting into his seat, before starting the checklists? Nothing to see here!

Ha, only time the federal government launches an investigation these days is if you make fun of liberals, which is increasingly difficult not to do!
