I just love how atmospheric Mastodon songs sound, the drums are definitely the driving force for that.

i'm tired of people saying they miss the leviathan sound or "i hope their is some face-shredding riffs on the new cd like the past albums", referring to remission and leviathan. Mastodon writes music for themselves first and foremost. We're just along for the ride. Take it or leave it. I'm loving this song and can't wait for the album!!!

While people are freaking out about the sound of this album, no two Mastodon albums sound exactly the same. That's what makes the one of the greats of the genre. I for one amincredibly excited for this album.

I love how no matter what Mastodon do, it always sounds like them. I honestly believe they could release a pop album and it would still have that Mastodon tinge to it.

I've literally been obsessed with Crack The Skye since it came out and I was kept content recently with the Aragon DVD which is sickkk but this album is gona melt my brain again I can feel it. The band really came together as a unit on the last record and I hope they kick it up another notch this time around.
