Why Barefoot Shoes?

Why knock Altra? They are literally known for making "foot shaped shoes". As someone who prefers wide toe box no drop shoes in my day to day life, my Altra Via Olympus are great for running. I wish it had less cushion but they are the best I know of.

Just bought my pair of barefootshoes two days ago. I am astonished top say I can't wear normal shoes anymore 😮 The little toe ist not getting any pressure anymore. All toes have enough space. It's such a relief.

Altra has a wide toe box but some of the shoe has a lot of cushion. They are still some with a lil cushion

Only cavemen walk barefoot, I am not going back in times even though you say it has health benefits to my feet. I need cushioned shoes. 😂

ALTRAs are almost barefoot shoes. They're just not super thin.
They have zero drop and no arch support.
You chose the wrong example.

Barefoot shoes may be good for you, but to the wider audience this is nor aesthetically pleasing or comfortable. And most people can’t just stop wearing necessary items just for the need of stronger toes. Are we going to have footless construction workers now?
