While I think he became too confident cause he was being a jerk to those people, maybe he needed to be knocked down a tiny bit. But it broke my heart when I saw that Bojack just made a tiny insult about the way Todd was dressed and his confidence COMPLETELY fell apart and he became very nervous and clumsy again. I didn’t notice it that much before, but it really shows how much Bojack is holding him back and breaking him down
