It's sad that we never got to see the deadly fight between Kaneki and Arima. The manga made it look great, plus Kaneki lost both of his eyes! I'm guessing they thought that the ending of the battle was too graphic to put into the anime, which was a major disappointment for fans of the show. Wish that we could have seen that awesome fight and the episodes that followed. Lucky for us, we have Fan Animation!
