the only time i’ve ever cried reading a manga ever was in ch.63 when Rize and kaneki where talking, the part when kaneki was crying out to his mom begging her to chose him over his aunt and everyone had me messed up, the art tone and dialogue in the scene in the manga was done great, i don’t know how the scene is in the anime since i never watched it

I read in an article that sui ishida the creator of tokyo ghoul didn't see the series as a success. He believes if that something drawn by him is a success only when he's satisfied with it. I really hope his next series choujin x just as much fame as Tokyo ghoul

I love how it shows the potential and power you unlock when you learn to accept yourself, and realize you’re here for a reason, he’s OP for the same reason you gain confidence and peace within yourself after a traumatic event, kaneki realized if it wasn’t for all the pain and suffering and trauma, he wouldn’t be where he is now, he moves forward for everyone he cares about, instead of taking on everything himself, and learning he always had selfish reasons for doing the things he did despite feeling otherwise, and he chose to not only nourish his inner child, but accept himself for what he is.

Thing is. Bro wasn't op from the start specifically. He got op in his own way and with what happened after the ghoulification.
Went from an abused introvert shyguy to an abused murderer that snapped, to a formal member of society with sociopathic tendencies to a edgy but we'll rounded guy to a parent. I love the wya tg ended. Happy ending with sad backstory and nice characters. Even tho the story for the anime was not as good as the manga or was not as good as other anime I still liked it for what it was
