For those asking, Alice’s breed is a “Silkie” chicken. That’s why her and her friends are so fluffy! :) Also For those commenting about feeding her eggs, they are a very common treat for chickens and are packed with protein and vitamins. Also, we have no roosters so these eggs are not fertile and could never be babies they’re just for eating. Our chickens love them, preferably scrambled but I made them a little fancier for Alice. 🤌🏼

For those concerned about the egg eating. If she didn’t feed her the egg she would have fed herself the egg it’s actually quite common for chickens to eat the shells too! It helps with digestion and future egg laying. To them if it isn’t fertilized it’s wasteful not to eat.
