I completely agree with Zach here.No lies upgraded from a NVidia 9500GT to GTX 1650.Its still not a very good card but MAN did it feel amazing to feel the power.

Damn. I went from a AMD laptop from over 12 years ago. That couldn't even run lethal company. Struggled on minecraft at minimum and roblox at minimum settings. And upgraded to a rtx 3050. It was a beast. Playing msfs 2024 high setting now

Incremental upgrades mean you can pass down old hardware. I do it so I can help my friends upgrade. We have an upgrade conveyer belt going right now. And when the friend with the slowest pc upgrades, I sell his old parts to upgrade mine. We “keep the ball rolling “

I had my first pc with 3600 and 5700xt. I have upgraded it to 5800x3d and 6900xt. I am playing everything ultra settings on my 3440 x 1440 monitor. Best choice of my life.

Anything below a 50% increase in performance is not an upgrade for me, I went from a 970 to a 5700 and then to a 6800XT, the nest time I look into an upgrade will be the 9000 series AMD cards or one gen higher at best.

I've got a 5700g with a 6700xt. I think it's a good pair, runs 1440p with no issues. Was considering 6800xt but couldn't get a good deal on a used card, 6700xt I got was just 200 bucks. Also wasn't sure if the 5700g can keep up with a faster card, I've got it for a hundred so can't complain.
