The Boys The Deep Is More Powerful Than You Think

The Boys Season 2 has us super hyped!

Ever since it dropped on Amazon Prime, The Boys has delighted and disturbed audiences with its outrageous violence and black comedy. While Homelander and Maeve may be the strongest supers in the group, there is one super who we may just underestimate- The Deep. Laughed off as an Aquaman parody who really deals in “water crime” (whatever that is exactly), but hints from season two and undefined character abilities could mean The Deep is actually a lot more powerful than we think. Last time we saw the character he was having a mental breakdown after a long list of vulgar actions and could this push him over the edge to make him use the full range of his powers?

In this video we will take a deep dive into the world of The Deep (sorry, not sorry) and why we think that The Deep is much more powerful than we give credit for. Including abilities he has in the comics, potential ways his current abilities could go as well as what the actor has said himself. So put on your tightest spandex (or don’t, it’s entirely up to you) and get ready to enter the super world of The Seven!

I'd like to think The Deep was given his seat on The Seven by the higher ups for a reason. After all, they know more about their heroes than anyone else. Maybe it will take a telepath to unlock his capabilities, much like what White Queen did for Ice Man in Xmen.

I feel like the reason his character is being wrote in the way it is, is because who is better to go through the depressive state aspect of heroism than the hero everyone considers a joke? It brings him to the question of his importance when thinking about literal god tier supers

He has to have incredible durability and definitely enhanced physical abilities due to being able to swim super fast and hold on to they damn whale while it speeds. In or near water he should be super formidable.

When away from it, he should be well above average in terms of power .
