The Beatles are one of the biggest bands to ever come out of the UK. John Lennon and Paul McCartney were arguably one of the greatest songwriting duos of all time. Accompanied by Ringo Starr and George Harrison, Lennon and McCartney helped usher in the so-called British Invasion by forming one of the most iconic rock bands in musical history. Back in the 1960s, The Beatles was one of the biggest musical acts in the world.

The band's popularity grew in the UK throughout 1963, fueled by singles like Please Please Me, She Loves You, and From Me To You. By October of that year, the press coined the term 'Beatlemania' to describe the cult-like fanaticism that the band enjoyed at their live performances.

The Beatles' popularity exploded at an exponential rate after embarking on their world tours – the first of which they took in 1964. In February of that year, they arrived in the US and performed on live TV on The Ed Sullivan Show. That performance was viewed by approximately 73 million people.

The Beatles went on to put out some of the most beloved and iconic pop and rock albums of all time. From 1964's A Hard Days Night to 1965s Rubber Soul and 1967s Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the group were instrumental in creating some of the most memorable and groundbreaking tunes of all time. In addition to helping put British culture back on the map, they also helped usher in the era of psychedelia that would come to define the latter half of the decade. Unfortunately, everything good eventually has to come to an end. Watch this video to find out how and why the Beatles really broke up.

Ringo has the best and most humorous insight into the end of The Beatles. When asked what he was thinking during their final concert at Candlestick Park in 1966 he replied "It was such an important time in my life, I don't remember it". After releasing his song on the Beatles' break-up, "Early 1970" he told the press, "Yes, we're still close friends despite the fact we are all suing each other now".

Was surprised that George Harrison passed from not only lung cancer but at Paul McCartney's home. At least George did not pass alone...Paul was there for him.

After watching this, it seems The Beatles were destined to break-up anyway. But Yoko sure played a very big part in it.

It was YoKo Onos dead cat screaming 😱 that broke up the band. Ringo threatened to beat her with his drumsticks, George threatened to el-kapong her over her head with his guitar and Paul contemplated hanging her by his bass guitar strings.

The Beatles were actually warned by Mick Jagger about Allan Klein... but John, George, and Ringo didn't listen.

I am a Beatles Fanatic! I heard their first music when I was 4. Then I had every record. I know almost everything about them. Yoko made the Beatles breakup ! She never said an. She would not speak to anyone, she would only speak in whispers to John .

I saw Ringo Starr live many years ago in Tucson for a Charity event. Great show. That's as close to seeing the Beatles for me.

In 1965, a Mexican-American group, from East Los Angeles, California, called, Cannibal And The Headhunters, had a hit called, "Land Of A Thousand Dances."
When the song became a hit, no White American and British and no Black American and British artists and groups wanted to tour with them.
But, The Beatles asked the group to tour with them for their 1965 American tour.
Cannibal And The Headhunters joined The Beatles for their 1965 American tour that included the famous Shea Stadium concert.

Great insight. I love the Beatles ❣️ I've always felt Yoko Ono was one of the main causes for their breaking up. Personally, she is definitely not on my list of great people. Thank you!! 😊

Linda was Paul’s love. He was so hurt when she passed. He dint marry again for a few decades when he married a Major Bi** h. When the press asked her what’s it like to marry such a big star. She just said Paul was not a big deal, musically and she did things much better then him. They got divorced in a hurry and Paul was so upset, he got mad and it was a tough divorce. They had a fight over some Cleaning supplies.! Julian, Johns First son was never seen by his dad . I’m sure Yoko was the reason. There were some things of Johns that was supposed to go to Jillian. Yoko Sold them at auction! Julian went around the Wirld to the people who bought his things and had to pay five times as much as they paid. It wasn’t that they were worth that muck
H. It was the sentimental things for Julian. He was totally lost after Yoko humans and Jones life. Brianna 60 minutes that’s on here on YouTube hearing her side of the story. They were in a limo and Yoko just jumped down putting herself in between her and her husband and asked for a ride and then she was sending him love letters flowers and all of a sudden she knew he was married and that’s a really crappy thing to do and I Hell if John didn’t meet her they probably would’ve stayed together a little longer and a lot of things wouldn’t of happened.

After 1966 the Beatles no longer existed. The reason they stopped touring because James Paul no longer existed. Billy Shears, who is a McCartney immitator, was well hated by the rest of the band. This was the cause of the tension. It’s obvious the guy pretending to be McCatrney isn’t the real James Paul. George and John were most affected. John started the band. James Paul was second in line. Best of friends. Billy used the Beatles for his own gain.

This video does not show everything that went on with the Beatles. And some sex yet flawed or time but it is still good showing the life of the Beatles and even though there was a lot more to them they would’ve been here for an hour or more trying to explain everything.
