George is the one I identify with most. Quiet, sarcastic, nervous, introverted and honest.

1:53 - 2:10 George Harrison's summary of his conversation with Lennon ("hi, hello"-"hi") is brilliant. Such a twist on the premise of a usual talk show, where we often watch "stars" telling flashy stories, trying too hard to make them sound extraordinary. Here we have a story about two actual stars, having the most ordinary conversation ever, and yet George made it funny and interesting effortlessly.

What a humble man George was, not annoying the way celebs seem to be today with their blustering 'all about me' talk. Very refreshing. He's missed!

George was hilarious with his honest, semi-passive-sarcastic responses.

Hard to believe he was only 28 and the Beatles years were already behind him at this point.

I still get chills when I think about this. The day before George passed away, a friend of mine came to my apartment and him and I played some guitar. We played my sweet lord from all things must pass and end of the line from his days in the traveling wilburies. Afterwards, we talked about George and the Beatles. We both agreed that George was the best Beatle. We ended up listening to some Beatles that night. The next day, he called me up and asked if I heard about George. When he told me the news, I thought he was just messing with me. I looked it up and sure enough. I’ve always been weirded out by that.

I wish they still did talk shows like this today. People actually talking to each other, no scripted bits, just actual conversation.

I'm exactly 1 minutes in and George already made a Big Brother reference and jumped out of his seat at the mention of Yoko. I love this guy

0:44 It wasn't only the music that made me a fan of the Beatles. Their sense of humor was also top notch. Extremely quick, witty, sarcastic, deadpan, but they'd still do physical bits reminiscent of Monty Python. John was the funniest for sure.

You can tell that Dick is thinking "I'm not sure this is a very good interview". Little did he know, people would still be watching it half a century later.

Shame he doesn't like to talk. I could listen to him all day.

I'm not a Beatles fan but George strikes me as a very humble, down to earth dude, something that cannot be said of most rock/music superstars.

So laid back he’s almost horizontal, so humble, what you see is what you get. RIP George

It's cool hearing the man who wrote "Something" say, "It's pretty simple, really.."

Okay, I love Ringo but I have to admit that George is definitely the coolest Beatle.

Loved the scene near the end of Get Back where him and Lennon are talking about George wanting to release his own music. They were both saying that they could all do their own things, to get out what they need to, but then come back together as the Beatles.... sad that it didnt happen that way.

As I learn more and more about George Harrison as a person, I like his personality more and more. He was quite intelligent and had a terrific ability to concentrate on his guitar playing and what he said to people. He certainly was not overly emotional or impulsive in his thoughts and deeds.

George Harrison is 28 yrs old in this interview.
Amazing, beautiful and wise Man.
Imagine suffering 40 knife wounds during a sensless attack in his own home. He survived thanks to his wife.
He was then diagnosed with first, lung cancer in 2001, then, secondary brain cancer and left this world the same year, November 2001.
Thankyou George, for your beautiful music.
It keeps the world spinning 'round.
