30 years ago I found Canada a perfect place to live, I feel sorry for those who spend all their savings to come to Canada coz there is no stability in here now 😢

Moved to Canada in 1980 from Eastern Europe. Too bad we didn’t stay in Austria like we first wanted and we came to Canada. It’s going pretty bad now. Food, housing, jobs, healthcare etc 😢

I guess i'm one of the lucky ones immigrated to Canada 1958 without a cent in my pocket and managed to retire with 55 so Canada was exceptional good to me and my family .

As a 62 year old born Canadian person, let me just say ... if you moved here to get rich hehehehehehe. If you moved here to escape a nasty place like Syria, welcome, it's a lot safer here. Jobs, it's hard to find a good job anywhere, Canada is no different. It will be hard in any other country as well. The weather, heheheheheheh how did you not know about our weather? What do they teach you in your home country? 90% of Canada is unoccupied wilderness, for the same reason most of the Sahara and most of the Gobi is. It's a lot like Siberia here. It's either too danged hot in our summer or too danged cold in our winter. Fall is a bit easier to detect than our spring. I get by just fine in an average rented apartment on 2300.00 a month for 2 persons. I do NOT live in one of our cities. If you came here for 'the good life', sorry to break the illusion. Key details though. We have hate laws. We are not at war. We are sitting on some of the greatest stores of wealth on the planet. We have space. Maybe you should try not trying to exist in our crowded cities. Move to a small town, get a mundane job. And don't expect your dream to arrive immediately. Have a job people need, not just a job you think is worth a lot of pay.

Don’t go to Canada. Stay where you are or go somewhere else, not Canada!

I'm in Toronto. Expensive and congested.

Next Canada is pretty much a two- climate. Summer & Winter with Spring & Fall short seasons❤.

In my humble opinion move to Mumbai as Canada looks the same now. That way you will still be close to your family at least 😅

I’m a 78-year-old senior living in a mortgage free bungalow type house in a rural setting in the middle of the prairies in Saskatchewan… I’m one of the fortunate ones but I would not want to be growing up in this country at the moment as mentioned in this video Many of the things mentioned are absolutely correct. People are finding it hard to put food on the table. Definitely finding it hard to find properties specially in the cities very difficult to pay rent difficult to find jobs and skills. Yes, it’s a beautiful country and we are so lucky to be in the position we are that we can even afford to go on travels, but we are not the norm, thanks for this video to spell it out especially to immigrants who think it’s a better place… Think again… Oh and don’t think the winters are mild. They certainly aren’t but also where we live it never giets worse than -30 or worse than +30 Celsius. Weather is very bearable in the prairies Just my thoughts.

Everything in this video is true!
But compared to where I came from back in 1996 I’m glad I brought my family here
All my kids have their own jobs and all of them graduates
It’s a struggle but I don’t regret coming here!
I am now retired and living only on my pension
Yes, it’s cold during the winters and hot during the summer but we’ve adopted to this life!
I’ve learned how to cook so I save by not eating out
Switched to a skilled job ( carpentry)from office work
I buy simple things and avoid expensive
I wear Walmart and Costco clothes
My car is an old toyota, cheap on gas, cheap on insurance
I still believe that Canada is still a lot better than other countries I have been to!

My problem with living here in Canada is, healthcare. My son with multiple disabilities is not getting the help he needs. I’m a senior citizen caring for a 30 year old at home 🥹😭

I made that mistake, coming to Canada as an independent immigrant, in 1979! I don't regret it because I have two wonderful sons who offset everything you said which I mostly experienced and agree with! You have to be stoic and have very good reasons to settle in this "quasi" North Pole, emotionally and climate wise!

I'm an electrical engineer way back home for 12 years but I end up working on a fish plant in Canada. They said 2.54cm is not egual to an inch in Canada.

The talk about weather is untrue..never heard of such a long winter as shown..
I lived in Canada all my life. Most of this is untrue.

It is not the right time to go to Canada either on PR or as a student. The job opportunities are far less even in health care sectors except some menial jobs here and there including the construction field. The cost of living is too high so as the house rent. Medical facilities have become pathetic without enough doctors and other staff.

Unfortunately, Canada today is not what it used to be.
