After careful consideration, I made the decision to quit my real estate career and pursue a different career path.

I get it. I’ve been in this 8 years and currently have a team of 8.

Real estate sales is a great first time business to start for under 2k that can make you 100k.

However it’s a real grind and I think many people don’t realize how hard it is to build and sustain.

At this stage I am working on moving into the investment side and generating deals for my agents to service and sell. I don’t want to personally be out there showing homes anymore. I’ve done that for years and it’s time to change.

I actually started investing first and got my real estate license to increase my income, in addition to the day job, to invest faster. But after getting licensed, I’m seeing how truly INVOLVED you have to be to get anywhere as an agent. And don’t get me wrong, I do get joy out of helping people while supplementing my income. But it won’t be a long term play. No way I’d endure the nuances of this industry longer than I have to in order to gain more traction on my investing goals.

Hey man I love your content. I close on my first home on the 20th I just turned 21 in December, I worked with a realtor who wasn’t answering my questions or calls then through family I found a realtor that was 20+ years in the business. He answered within 5-10 minutes of reaching out. Long story short I helped his son get a job he didn’t want to do sales, I’ve always been in sales and always tried to start my own business I told him about my investing and real estate agent dreams. He looked at me and said get your license and join my team! He stepped down from being a broker in charge and is on his own path with a brokerage. Clearing 800k commission last year.

This is a gods doing opportunity to learn from a beast, I really would like to know how you approached getting new clients and some of the biggest challenges you had started off and wish you’ve done different from the beginning.

Exactly where I’m at been in real estate 5 years and was making 150-200k as a 24 year old and I had built up a 2 million dollar cash flowing rental property portfolio i realized eventually I hated it everything thing about real estate sold everything I owned cashed out and looking to start something totally new I got to the point I didn’t have to work and drove me nuts
