Mateus Asato is my favorite guitarist. I just found out about him last year and he single-handedly reignited my passion for the electric guitar. I’m in my 50’s now and no one has gotten me fired up about guitar playing since Randy Rhoads and EVH in the mid ‘80s.

there's always a crazy rock to kick over in guitar world. WHAT WAS THAT. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT. HE'S MASTERED STUFF I'VE NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT

reminds me of the acoustic side, like Tommy emmanuel. just so much control and emotion

Like I heard someone once say "it's good, but ... too many notes." No space to breathe.

Okay, I've played for a lot of years. (yup I'm a "Boomer") and No I can't play what this guy plays.
(even if I tried really hard) And it sounds looks and is cool, no doubt.
But I got to tell ya. I am so freakin' sick of constant "Shred Salad" at with and in every guitar video,
That I'm beginning to avoid guitar videos.
it's like watching a cover of a cover of that cover of...
If everyone is doing it? then there is seemingly nothing special about it.
The list is endless.
You, This guy, Stevie T, Jared Dines, Sarah Longfield, Herman Li, And after Tina S. C'mon, Who filled those shoes? I've seen a few attempts and well nope.
I love all these guitar players (well maybe not Jared Dines) ?
But the point is a solo shredder shredding continuous solos?
it's stating to feel.. Disco music, at the height of the Disco era..
That's feel like not sound like. I don't see the trend stopping, So I'll keep avoiding.
