The wording is not ideal. Asexuality is not a lifestyle. It is not a choice, just like other the other sexualities, ace people are born this way. I find that invalidating to be honest.

This is how I feel. I’m also going through my 2nd divorce and part of the reason is because he touches me too much and I hate being touched at all. I get a whole attitude when he wants to have sex. At this point I haven’t had sex in mths and we still sleep in the same bed for now. He just thinks I want someone else even though I’ve explained I’m asexual and never have the urge to even want to. I use to do it just whenever he wanted and hope it was over quickly. I’m over it all at 40. I just need to be by myself.

If you guys are going to use words make sure to use them correctly or else you’ll have people confused within themselves. ASEXUAL AND ABSTINENCE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS, now if you want to make up new meaning you can do so but make that clear in the statement, don’t mislead people because you could easily be offending somebody. That’s like when Kim kardashian tried to give a whole new name for cornrows knowing damn well that’s what black people been calling them for decades, and this is why small things matter.

But then I started to listen and there's another human whom embraces self love, and understanding that happiness doesn't come from material but the exact opposite, community and nature. I moved to belize last year and I found this to be a fact. Abroad is the place for a beautiful spirit like yours. It's still capitalism but at a minimum anyways continue to live your truth!
