In this DIY video I solve my own personal housing crisis by building modern tiny house on wheels. This mobile tiny home has a footprint of 11'x30' and a livable 300 SQ FT of floor space. In this long, detailed, narrated video I show you how to build every step of the entire exterior; from a bare trailer to finished home including how to frame the tiny home, how to make the roof, insulating the floor, sheathing, installing door and windows, steel roofing, vinyl siding install and everything else along the way.

Thanks so much the overwhelming support! There's a ton of comments and I'm trying to respond to a lot of them but there is just that - a lot. A lot of people were asking about Supers so I just enabled Super Thanks on here as a new way to support the channel. I'll be more personally answering most of the Super comments that come in the next little while 😀. Also, taking a couple days to relax but I'll have the plans out sometime this week! Thanks for watching, more on the way 🎥

Hey Drew. I’m a local trucker that has been driving by your place all summer seeing you progress a little more with each load I haul. I’ve been very impressed with how nice it’s been looking. This is very inspiring. I also have kids that may never get to move out unless they do something similar. I’ll keep checking it out on my trips by. If you hear the air horns, it’s likely me. Build on!

Huge respect for making the plans available for free. And for explaining everything instead of just filming yourself doing it. Your videos are actually helpful instead of just something to watch.

I’ve been in construction just over 11 yrs. This is absolutely incredible to watch someone go beyond their limits.

Honestly, if this video was 4 hours long I would have watched it from start to finish. Idk why but watching Drew's videos just improves my mood.

These longer videos are perfect! Your editing and production style keeps it from getting boring but still packed with tons of info!!

You, sir, are one of the handful of creators on YouTube that I would easily dedicate 2 hours to. This is incredible!

I really appreciate all the time you spent on this...not only to build but all the editing!
I'm 71 and still enjoy watching people build!

As an ex sider I was baffled by why you would go vertical on your siding, but honestly, once you were done, it all made sense. This will hold up super well going down the highway and anywhere you park it. I could point out the places you could have made it easier on yourself, but truthfully, everything you did was great and you provided some of the most well researched rundowns of how to from A-Z I have ever seen. Fantastic job!!

I prefer these long videos, honestly. Total immersion in the process, and your narration of what I'm watching is always fantastic. Your no fear approach to these builds blows my mind. Looking forward to the interior build, keep up the great work!

Watched this over 3 nights, phenomenal build. I've managed over a billion dollars worth of construction work so far in my career and watching stuff like this makes me smile. Love all the older videos too. Especially the van build

I’ve skimmed the comments, there’s nothing more my limited vocabulary could add to enhance what the hundreds who have already shared their sentiments have said. Your work is beyond worthy of the generous-hearted praise folks are heaping upon you. Keep going, keep growing, keep sharing and oh, by the way, one more vote for LONGER videos. Can’t seem to get enough of this good thing! Thanks, Drew!!

Whether your videos are half hour or 6hr long makes no difference to me, it's the fact that you take the time to explain everything you do and why you do it, that I enjoy, keep up the vids and don't change.

This is probably the most comprehensive and detailed tiny home builds that I've seen on YouTube. A literal start to finish. Love it. Keep up the good work.

I never would have guessed I would be enthralled by someone building a tiny house for over an hour and a half, but I'm now excited to see the interior being built! Thank you for a perfect amount of detail. This is truly an impressive build.

I fell asleep watching another video and woke up to this and it kept my full attention the entire time. As someone with ADHD that says a lot. I’m amazed by this and can’t wait to start the next video. Liked and subscribed!!

Great work. I've been designing and building handcrafted log homes for over 55 years. I started the same way you did. The only problem was there was no YouTube, no schools and no books on the subject. I learned by looking at old log homes up in B.C., taking lots of photos and then studying them. I did what worked and avoided mistakes that were obvious. There really is nothing to big to take on if you have desire, courage and access to a few tools and a place to work. Again, great work, Drew!

Thank you for not doing a 1 million part series i think the length of this video is perfect i would have even watched it if it was longer because the way you edit and explain the work you’re doing is enjoyable and easy to be entertained! Thank you for posting!

Hi Drew. I'm not building a tiny on wheels, but I can take a lot from watching this video to build tiny cabins on my bush block in Tasmania, Australia. I am always impressed with the skill required for quality finishes, and you have not let me down. For a first-time build, your detailing is truly impressive. I am a 60-year-old woman with about the same skill level as you began with, but I have a lot of experience with hand and power tools, and I will definitely be referencing your content. You asked for feedback regarding the length of the video, and for me, it was a no-brainer. I was completely hooked and didn't even realise I had been watching for so long. I found the information and how you explained everything enthralling. Thanks so much for your effort. I appreciate your generosity and am grateful for the knowledge.
