0:10 Thank you so much, when I looked up when can kittens be on a raw food diet I read it should be 20 weeks I was genuinely confused since I was thinking then how the Hell do their wild cousins feed their kittens of they should be raw meat when their 20 weeks old, WE NEED more YouTube channels like this, sine this video and every other video is so informative. 7:49 this can also be obtained by walking your kitten when harness and leash training your kitten as well too but it wouldn't hurt to feed them vitamin D though. 12:07 kittens drinking less water isn't a cause of alarm because of how they adapted on getting all their moisture from their prey in fact if your kitten is drinking a lot of water that’s when you take them to the vet to rule out anything medical

I have been doing critical care with the runt of an eight kitten litter. Momma didnt have enough milk, kicked him away when he was 4 weeks old. He weighed only 4.9 ounce when I brought him in at 4 weeks~!
He will be eight weeks old in two days and weighs 13 ounces.
I have almost lost him twice. He's had digestive issues. I just don't want to stick him on any commercial food. I want to give his body the best I can. He's become such a sweetheart, such a treasure.

Omg this channel is amazing....finally found out how much do i need to feed my little tiger...he's 6m old and on a wet diet from the beginning, now combined with raw...i use the brand Ontario for his can food, from raw it's: chicken, pork, beef, chicken hearts and gizzard. I didn't know i can feed him with bones...so i guess i need some shopping😁

Great info thanks for sharing! I'll say from experience that finding RMBs that provide a good Ca:P ratio is really hard. I've struggled without eggshell powder to reach adequate levels and ratios of Calcium for my cat, same for my dog as Phosphorus is pretty abundant in other meat products. That being said adding eggshell powder is really easy and can be homemade. But like you said you really need to plug all your foods into a spreadsheet with NRC requirements to really see whats going on and how those levels change with different ingredients. Formulating DIY raw for kittens and puppies is difficult so good on anyone who does the research and work to do it!
