The excessive white makes the kitchen look flat and uninviting, it needs more contrasting detail, like textures or color to create dimension. All the metal hardware is clashing. Gold (especially the tone she used) is a warm color, and she combined it with cool-toned silver. The best way to balance golds isn't to add MORE reflective cold surfaces like metal, mirrors, or glass (or acrylic 🤢), but rather to add earthy elements like plants, woods, bamboo, stone, candles, books, rope, wicker/rattan, tea towels, wool/faux fur, etc. Adding these balancing pieces introduce warmth, and can take the ambiance from a clinical setting to feeling more cozy like a home.
