If you can pay your bills on time, have a few months of expenses saved, and have little or no non-mortgage debt then you’re doing better than most!

I loved a quote “Never compare your BEGINNING to someone else’s MIDDLE” & now I loved what you said…
“Finance is a PERSONAL JOURNEY & not a RACE against others” 👏

My main concern now is how can we generate more revenue during quantitative times? I can't afford to see my savings crumble to dust.

I am happy to have a healthy family, a roof over our heads and food on the table. I always feel blessed to be so fortunate.

My perspective on wealth shifted when I understood that income doesn't guarantee financial security. I learned that living modestly and wisely can lead to prosperity, regardless of income. By adopting a frugal mindset, I reached a milestone: surpassing $1 million in wealth. Kudos to all working towards financial freedom!

When people say to me that I should move to X area as I live in a modest suburb or why don't I buy a nice new car, I tell them "I'm not here to impress you"

I spend about 10% of my income, invest the balance, and don’t give a shit what other ppl do or think. That’s why I’m always happy 🎉

I read somewhere that most people feel they need to increase their income by about 25% to feel financially secure, even multimillionaires! Just goes to show that people generally expand their spending to whatever income they have, and never feel they have enough.

Just listening to your videos I feel like I have a financial adviser I can rely on👌🏾, your advices have helped me understand and apply financially healthy and sound practices. And what makes them so relatable is how unbiased or non-single minded they are. Keep it up💪🏽

I saved more in my first job when i earned a fraction of what I earned later. just started saving few years ago in my late 30s. Mutual funds and fixed deposits have been lifelines for my personal finance

I’d prefer my network all make/have more than me because if anything, they’re going to try to help pull you up rather than down

She makes several great points. One that sticks with me is the point about money saved for at least one month if things go south e.g lose job, unexpected matter arises.

In my age group, I see alot of people are in relationships/situationships with or without kids, they spend lavishly on holidays, material things as well which is all good when done in moderation but then panic when funds dry up or lose their job.

Seems some people rather want to keep up with the masses rather than look at what they themselves can afford. Just my 2 cents.
