I will definitely watch the Hammerhead show. My favorite shark so awesome to see more content about them. I am bummed though because I bought a cool necklace years ago with a little blue shark. It is also a donation to help stop finning and you get a shark to track. I tracked my white shark yesterday and it has not had a ping since 2020. I think my shark is dead. That is sad.

After enjoying Sharkfest on Nat Geo this month, I honestly can’t say I’m looking forward to Shark Week. Sharkfest has been (for the most part) what Shark Week used to be, and the ratings and reviews so far have shown that viewers have appreciated the scientific approach and the wider array of species represented.

Completely agree with you, different sharks need their time in the spotlight too! Threshers especially are so over-looked when they have one of the coolest adaptation!

I’m always surprised by the lack of shows on Goblin sharks. They’re so wild looking and I feel like people who are interested in sharks either know the iconic shape of them with their jaw extended or have no clue about them. Either way, a fantastic opportunity for an educational but entertaining program

I’ve been watching National Geographic’s Sharkfest, it seems more science-led than Shark Week and there’s much less sensationalism. Learned some really interesting stuff.

Thanks for talking sharks! Glad you're excited by alien sharks, lots of super cool under represented species in that epp. While it may be on your avoid list, I strongly suggest you check out, at minimum, the results of SvS from the lab. The info you're sharing about the effects of sea snake venom is not accurate. Thanks for getting people excited about sharks on your YT channel!

I went to South Africa in 2016 and went cage diving with great whites with Chris Fallows and his wife. I'm actually wearing the Apex shirt right now. They were lovely! I spent most of the time chatting to his wife and we were lucky because they were saying we might not even get a shark because orcas were spotted around quite a lot around that time. We only had to wait 10 minutes for one. We went out the next morning and we didn't see any breaches but again we didn't have to wait long for the same shark as the day before to turn up. A small to medium male and he hung around for ages. I recently found your channel and did a binge. Keep up the amazing work ❤❤ 🦈🦈 I would love to see more shows on the deep sea sharks like the Greenland, six gill (a new favourite of mine, they are adorable), cookie cutter, goblin etc. I would also LOVE to know more about the mega mouth. They look so goofy ❤

Shark Week got me interested in sharks but you have made me understand sharks even better than Discovery Channel ever could 😊❤🦈

Kris, you gotta title one of your future shows “Are we milking bull sharks”! 😂😂😂😂. That’s hysterical!

Always appreciate these watches and avoid videos. Bit late to Shark Week, but hopefully I can stream some of these. I've been streaming some Nat Geo shows that were fairly decent. I'm still hoping to see Shark Bytes on next year's Shark Week or Shark Fest. Maybe searching for Great Whites around Cornwall, lol. Or maybe something a little less sensational that doesn't talk about the same sharks, like maybe something on nurse sharks. P.S. I don't know if you follow the marine biologist/shark scientist 'Telly's Marine Tales' but she did a good video debunking 'Cocaine Sharks'.

I loved sharkfeast. I went cage diving with the legend Rodney Fox here in Port Lincoln South Australia.❤️🇦🇺🦈

big vouch on the myfahlo bracelets! After seeing Kristian talk about them a little while ago I bought some as birthday gifts for my family and so far they've loved them. got each of them a different one: shark, penguin, elephant, and lion

Thanks Kristian! I'm eager to watch due to Jason Momoa hosting. Did you know he chose marine biology as his major before transferring to Colorado State University and switching it to wildlife biology?
I'll definitely watch the episodes you recommend. I also love Hammerheads! One of my fav species of sharks.

SharkFest has been much better than any SharkWeek I've seen before, definitely sticking to it in the upcoming years!

Speaking of Shark Features done well. Youtube. The Malibu Artist. May not sound sharkish, but it is always top notch photography by drones on Great Whites ( one terrific video on whales). Narrated, positive content based on a passion for seeing these beauties in their habitats, so rarely seen by drone, sometimes from a mile away, while searching the California coast. Surfers, paddleboaters, kayakers sometimes get a tip-off by Carlos's drone - if he sees a G.W. following, very close by but that's not the theme...sharks w/o human interaction, is. 👌❤

Would so love to hear about more shark species! I had never heard of a Porbeagle until one wash ashore (last year) in my home town in Nova Scotia. And what's this with possible Greenland sharks feeding on newly born seals on Sable Island?

bit of a pre-watch comment but I took my kids to the blue planet aquarium this week, they were both so excited and loved it, my eldest loved the rays the most and my youngest loved the sharks the most, guiding them in the right direction :D

Kris, would you consider covering some of the NatGeo programs in a similar vein to this?

I don’t know how you don’t have more subs to be honest. Brilliant content.

I am happy they’re including more Makos. Having 3 shows on Tigers and Makos seems right. It’s the high number of GW shows that seems like a lot but also probably pays the bills.
