Dang, Obi almost pulled an Anakin. It's funny cause Anakin ALSO almost left the Jedi at a young age.

I find it hard to believe such a thing would damage Qui-Gon's trust in Obi-Wan. The Jedi Order, sure. But Qui-Gon!? It seems like the kind of thing he'd do himself.

How comic wrote Qui Gon: Bad Obi Wan.
Lore accurate Qui Gon: That’s my boy.

Obi Wan just went to a planet that had a war going on, and solved everything, and came back, Jedi's do get it done. ✅

Well Anakin needs to write down some notes from Obi-Wan for the leaving part

Obi wan was ready to leave for Satine too. Even though he is far different from dooku, qui gon and anakin. He still got their mentality even if it's only a bit

Yoda: were you going Kenobi
Obi wan: I’m gonna join ahsoka
Yoda : why
Obi wan: I wanna be one of the cool guys

Makes me miss all the old legends that was created before the newer films. Those were the real heart and soul of the franchise.

Dooku would've absolutely encouraged that kind of behavior

“Had you said the word, I would’ve left the order” one of my favourite Star Wars moments because it shows that obi wan wasn’t the “perfect Jedi” we see him ass

That’s one of the Jedi Apprentice books…Path of Destruction I think. My absolute favorite book series.

This was very vague. For context, this was in the “Jedi Apprentice” book series in Legends. The series followed a young Obi-Wan and his adventures as an apprentice. It introduced his friends, including Garen Muln and Siri Tachi. It also tells how Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan’s bond grew stronger throughout their adventures and missions before the Obi-Wan game and The Phantom Menace. There were also books, called “Jedi Quest”, which told of Obi-Wan and Anakin’s adventures before Attack of the Clones. Connected to these are “The Last of the Jedi”, which tells of Obi-Wan’s exile after Revenge of the Sith. He goes searching for a lost jedi. Much better than the Kenobi show.

The planet was Melida/Daan. They were sent there on a mission to try and keep the peace of warring planet. There, Obi-Wan was conflicted on remaining a jedi or joining the Young. He chose the latter. While he stayed and fought with his new friends, which he considered family, he also fell in love with a girl named Cerasi. For more details, go and read the books for yourselves.

This is great it brought back memories, I remember reading that novel when I was a child, got it from Scholastic.
Qui doesn’t like Obi’s choice that much but understands in the end, he even takes his lightsaber
