How to spend less money on gas? How to increase the fuel economy of your car? Gas prices have gone insane recently so we put together this list of 12 tips, tricks, and hacks to help you save money on gas and improve the fuel economy of your car. @scottykilmer will probably like this video.

Why is gas so expensive? There is a direct correlation between crude oil prices, oil availability, taxes, and demand. Unfortunately the price of fuel is often out of our control, but with these 12 tips, you'll be on your way to getting the most out of every gallon of gas you buy.

Sometimes the cars we drive aren't the most fuel efficient possible. We often yearn for muscle cars, sports cars, suv's or luxury cars like the V12 Mercedes Benz S600 in this video. One of the best ways to use less fuel is to buy a more efficient car. It's no surprise that some of the best-selling cars in America are also some of the best choices for fuel efficient cars and SUVs. Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Prius, Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Elantra Hybrid, Toyota Venza, Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, Ford Escape Hybrid, Lexus UX 250h, Toyota Avalon Hybrid, Lexus ES Hybrid, Kia Niro, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Honda Insight, Hyundai Ioniq.

Give this video a “thumbs up” if you want cheaper gas prices.

You know it's bad when sickmcvic makes a video about fuel economy!

I'm from Canada, I've never seen gas prices signs that had a price difference between credit and cash. It's just the price of regular 87 octane per liter. Right now it's insane at $1.50-1.80 CAD per liter in my region. I've seen it as high as $1.92 per liter. For some bizarre reason, diesel is always slightly more expensive even though it's less refined than gas. They say theses are historical prices, but I've seen it up to $1.34 per liter for a few weeks/month in the early 00's when I was starting my driving "career". If you adjust for inflation, it comes up close to the price of what it's at today. They blame Ukraine on this - It's is a factor, but I think one of the main reasons is because we don't rely on our own oil.

@0:45 Using the brakes doesn't necessarily consumes more fuel, but I think he means that it's better to coast to a red light. That way by the time it turns green, your car is still rolling therefore you save fuel. I do this often, especially theses days. BTW, I like the E 350 van and the Crown Vic!
