Doing it in the microwave is pretty dangerous if you don't use the right container. Even plastic containers that are meant for the microwave can't handle the heat. So please be careful when you want to do it yourself.
Also not every glass container is suitable.

Dont do it in the microwave, eventhough those cups are "safe" they are not made for the high levels of heat like sugar goes to. And can break pretty easily when hitting another temperature while in those levels. Kids have been hurting themselfs trying these because they think its safe, when it its 😢
