Have you ever made acake that didnt rise at all or didn't rise as much as it should?this is probably why;
If you enjoy baking but simply can’t get your precious cake to come out the oven looking perfect, these might be one of the reasons…

1. Adding too much baking powder can result in your cake having a distinct peak on the top as a result of too many air bubbles in the mix. Always measure carefully.

2. Using old or stale baking powder, or baking powder that has been improperly stored, can result in not enough rise, and flat dense cakes.
3.Too much sugar or too little sugar.
BEST AND CHEAP OVEN THERMOMETER TO CONTROL OVEN TEMPERATURE

I bake with same recipe like 15 times, every time it came wonderful. but for some reason for the last two times my cake didn't rise. I will buy a new baking powder and try again 😍

This was very informative! I just baked a cake for the second time but it was too moist and looked like it didn't rise much. I left the batter out too long because I spent so much time sifting my lumpy batter. I also spilled some of the egg whites on the floor when I cracked the egg so that might have affected the batter too. I also experimented on using buttermilk and sour cream instead of just milk. I just did so many wrong things. Will definitely stick to the original recipe. May I just ask that if I were to bake just 1 cake from a recipe that makes 2, do I half all of the ingredients?

My cake didnt rise it was flat I felt bad but I bumt into this video and discovered it was too much sugar and many other. I left the batter out for too long thanks for the video

Let me asked you please..after one month i used the same recipe which i used to bake perfectly..it didnt rise properly and theres a pit/ den in the middle..what happen im busy the whole day..i think theres problem with flour..but different brand of flour comes out same..and i check baking powder.mfg date was 25/02/20, but i tested it was not stale..what will be the reason..please help me.
