Percentage Increase and Decrease

If you want to increase a number by a certain percentage, follow these steps:

Add 100% with the required%

Express the percentage in rational form

Multiply by the number you wish to increase

If you want to decrease a number by a certain percentage, follow these steps:

Subtract the required % from 100%.

Express the percentage in rational form

Multiply by the number you wish to increase
