NeddyTheNoodle was very well known for Ark content often hear people mention this name, the split should not of happened and if it really had to happen what you should of done is made a second channel for all other content and kept this channel as the main Ark channel. my advice would be scrap that new channel or repurpose it and reinstate this as the main ark channel.

You should do little teaser videos on this channel and then have everyone go to TrytheByte to watch the full length video. Similar to how Jukari always did it with the videos he produced for nerdout

Perhaps you just have to keep it all in one channel then? I understand it would suck, but if you post everything trythebyte does on this channel too along with your extra content, you would keep the ark videos at the views they had with your channel along with growing subscribers from your extra content.

I've definitely seen Trythebyte in YouTube shorts and just thought it was a shorts channel rather than your new ark channel and I don't usually subscribe to shorts channels when I'm subscribed to their long form content, Hopefully this more direct announcement of the channel can bring support to the channel

People don’t like being pushed to another table when they’re perfectly comfortable at the one they’ve been sitting at. The one they already remember the name of. That’s why your second channel isn’t doing well, it’s inconvenient

Neddy, please, I am begging you; just merge the channels back together. Splitting the content was a rather risky choice in the first place and I was willing to hear you out and give it a chance, but now it’s pretty clear that this wasn’t the right decision. Just re-upload the TryTheBite content on this channel and discontinue TryTheBite. Most viewers of your content are incredibly unlikely to move over to another channel and are probably already confused with the newer videos on this channel and wondering where the Ark content went. This video also most likely won’t have much of an effect on redirecting people to the other channel, the title & thumbnail are rather ambiguous and the median subscriber isn’t going to click on or even get recommended a video that isn’t explicitly stated as Ark content. Even then, many will click off before they hear anything you have to say once they realize it isn’t a cinematic or a story explained video. TryTheBite was doomed to fail, and axing Ark content until further notice will only serve to drive away people who were interested in that content first and foremost. So please, just bring back the Ark content to this channel.

I think part of the problem is that you kinda did it backwards. This channel was known for the Ark content originally, so the expectation (from the viewers and algorithm) is to keep pushing what has worked while you could use the second channel as a platform for your non-Ark content. People associate Neddy = Ark, for better or for worse.

Personally I think you could have just kept all the content on a single channel since you're less of a gameplay more of a lore channel. Similar ytbers like Templin Institute and Spacedock have videos spanning across multiple IPs and did just fine, you just have to make sure they're all in their respective playlists to make browsing your content easier.

ya, it's sad that youtube has the dumbest algorithm, I don't have a channel of my own but i do intend but it's this type of stuff that make it difficult to follow through. Regardless, hope things get better, I will be here when they are.

Though I don't really understand why you started that new channel, since this one here was the one with Ark as its lifeblood.
