Love for Cholula. Flavor is fantastic and can be used with just about anything.

Tabasco has 6 or 8 contradicts your comment on them needing to 'get with the times' and upgrade their line. They have the original, along with the 'green', chipotle, and several others.

You trashed Tabasco on the basis of its basic sauce, but pushed Louisiana Hot Sauce due to its multiple flavours ignoring that Tabasco also has multiple flavours you didn't mention. Perhaps your compaisons are invalid because of your partiality.

Louisiana is the best for fried chicken. Tabasco is best for eggs. Each hot sauce has its pairing, like wine.

I've had sauces from all of these brands except for Yellow Bird. They are all good hot sauces but they are good for different types of food and times of day. For example, nothing beats Cholula with breakfast food, and nothing beats Frank's with wings. They all have their uses and I like all of them for different reasons. No need to get bent out of shape if your favorite isn't ranked as highly as you think it should have been. They are all good.

Cholulah, and crystal are the best of the list, the literally can be put on anything without overpowering the flavors. El yucateco is probably the tastiest on the list and the closest to a real hot sauce. I personally use green with posole verde.

I expected Cholula to be higher since it’s still has great taste and perfect for people who don’t like spicy as much as others but I can totally agree with Valentina it’s one of the most popular.

Tabasco has a range of offerings as well, from chipotle to sriracha, that are killer. Can’t top the original which has the lowest sodium of them all and is the only one that can boost the flavor of a dish without it tasting like the sauce. Try that with Frank’s, whereby whatever you add it to tastes like Frank’s.

Let's be honest; Yucateco is the only hot sauce on this list with serious heat. Should have been rated higher!

My Grandpop gave me eggs and potatoes with Tabasco when I was 7 years old and I've never looked back! 😂 Thanks Grandpa! 83 and still going strong. Tabasco forever!

They rank a sauce low because it's not spicy enough (yet by most peoples taste it is pretty spicy), then they rank another sauce low because it's too spicy. Maybe some actual scoville scores on the sauces can help sort the heat. Then make separate lists for heat and flavor. I've had sauces that I like that were really hot when they pack a nice flavor. Mild sauces can be good too, when the flavor balance is right on.

In this misleading video you say, "[Sriracha] is only slightly spicier than marinara sauce." Marinara is made from tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, onions, basil (occasionally oregano), sugar and salt. There is NOTHING "spicy" about marinara. Huy Fong Sriracha is acknowledged as being "very spicy' by the original creators of Sriracha, who also accurately point out its flavor pales in comparison to the original Sriracha recipe.

I have to laugh at valentina being at the 1 spot are you kidding me..

El Yucateco for tacos and other Mexican cuisines, red hot for fried chicken, tapatio/cholula/valentina for breakfast burritos, and Tabasco for eggs and scrambles/hashes. I'll put sriracha in onion soup or (actual)ramen sometimes when I want it to be spicy.

Tabasco is a perfectly balanced hot sauce with some really nice umami and funky aged pepper flavors going on. It may be hotter than most, but it more than makes up for it with all that delicious vinegary flavor!

Another notable found here in the south is Trappeys. Every single hot sauce they make is full of flavor and fantastic! None of them are all that hot but all of them are so good you can almost eat them with a spoon.
