Was looking for a way to install on an old Lenovo N22 I had lying around (just for testing etc). This worked perfectly!
Used a USB3 to Ethernet adaptor for connectivity and a USB3 to 256GB external SSD drive for storage - all works well!

I would like to ask 2 questions:
- Is this method neccessary to install to the eMMC? I can see the MMC device during the setup process and seems that you can select and install direct to it. Or will it not work?
- The second is the oppsite use case...
I install the Proxmox to extermal mVME drive, all perfect, but on the running Proxmox I can not find the eMMC flash drive, though it was listed during the initial setup process. Can you help me please? (Have Zimaboard 832)

I tried following the guide but once I removed the USB drive proxmox failed to start correctly. I got several errors of "edac pnd2 failed to register" and then failed to start User Login Management i then cannot access from LAN on port 8006, even though it gives me an IP..
any advice gratefully received.
