What makes wagyu beef expensive is the amount of marbling (fat) the muscles have.

So grinding the waygu meat literally destroys whatever specialness it may or may not have.

With any ground beef you can add that same amount of fat found in Waygu, by adding just that FAT to the meat.

That’s according to my meat science phd professor.
