It’s amazing what sponsor money will do. He was all about the Blackstars and the Victory, then the Katana and the BadCats, now NUX( such an influx of those videos as of late). I don’t trust any YouTuber reviews anymore.

I appreciate you demonstrating this amp! I'm sorry that you received some unfavorable comments. Personally, I can't always play my favorite tube amps due to the loud volume. I have guitars all over the house, and having something like this in the living room would be nice. It doesn't need to sound just like a tube amp, and I like the idea of being able to put headphones on and play while my wife is watching TV. I like the idea of just switching on the amp plugging in the guitar, and that's it. Plus being able to control it with my phone would be convenient. It will be my first non-tube, non-plugin-vst amp so I'm a little nervous. But if I don't like it I can just return it to the store. Thanks again!

I bought the NU>X Mighty 60 mkII a few weeks ago . I was after a rehearsal/small gig amp for my band, really only needed 1 channel, and I tried it out at a shop without ever hearing of it beforehand. Walked out with it that day. It really is everything you say about it.

I kinda feel like NuX is the working man's gear. It doesn't cost too much and sounds great. I have their piano, their floor pedal multi effects processor, and thier Klon clone. I don't need an amp. I love mine, but I just felt like adding this company makes great gear. I have bought from them.

I clicked on the video just to corroborate it was paid publicity. Rob didn't even comment on its "lack of valves" and not "getting there yet". Never gets old.

”Sounds like a tube amp. Oh man - this sounds soo good!” How many hundred times have I heard that the last 20 years. To my ears it does not sound “like a real tube amp”.

Their MP-3 headphone amp sold me, I can play as much as I want and my neighbors still like me.

I agree with some of those who already commented. There is a bitter taste in a paid review with an endorsement behind it. It's not the NUX that made you replace the katana. It sounds more like it is the Nux endorsement that makes you promote on YouTube that we replace a Boss with this new nux product. I don't want to sound unfriendly. I love Rob's videos. But this video is not a review with an unbiased opinion: it is simple advertising.

Any new information for the group is always welcome and enjoyed by all

Having seen first hand how line 6 Amplifi apps stop being supported/updated, thereby almost bricking the amp, I won’t ever buy an amp that relies on a phone app. It’s a blind alley when you buy app-reliant digital. The stopwatch to obsolescence starts when the amp is launched

The distortion sounds great, not too buzzy or fizzy.

I have the Nux mighty 20, and the katana 50. The Nux sounds WAY better than I thought it would. Tones are just as good as my katana and its only 20w.

I'm a great fan of NU-X. I cant fault them.. Great gear, ahead of the game and at crazy low prices.. Nutz.... Go 4 It., I have no hesitation in saying that.. Well done Chappers..

Got a nux mg 400 after watching Chapman's review. It was so good that I upgraded to nuxmg 30 (their premium model) for around 250 dollars. I haven't felt any need to change my setup after that. These days its hard to beat NUX due to the price.

Only one missing feature

The ability to have an IR slot for acoustic guitar

Should be a simple matter of software, a quick firmware update

The JC clean amp comes close, but all that's needed is an IR slot for gig and rehearsal work needing both acoustic and electric guitar

I bought a NUX Mighty 50 B - the bass amp version (over a year ago). It's a 10'' speaker, but my goodness, it sounds UNREAL for what it is. I have a Rumble 100, two Ampeg cabinets, Ashdown and Ampeg amps, and a vintage Fender 300PS with a fender 4x10. Despite those amp/cab setups which I love, the NUX Mighty 50 B sounds just as good for what it is - it can get loud, it can move air, it has the app for further customization, it's incredible. Anyone who's looking for a small practice amp which can be used for a small gig, please look at NUX. The quality of the sound will amaze you.

I rather do believe Rob about how great this Amp is because this glowing review competes with his own Victory line as well. Praising an Amp with no Tubes or maintenance like this is contrary to selfish ends but that's just the way I see it anyhow. Thank You Rob for your honesty.

I really like my NUX Mighty Lite BT MKII. It sounds so good. Every time I travel it goes with me. Makes me want this 60 watt amp even though i have a Katana 100 MKII head with the 2x12 cab.
