That some humans still can't comprehend or accept, half a century later, that we actually went there, is perhaps the greatest compliment to the achievement of those brave people who did the seemingly impossible and landed on the moon, and returned safely to earth in 1969

That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind confused me because man and mankind has the same meaning so it’s like saying one small step for mankind, one giant leap for mankind but when I figured out it was one small step for a man it all made sense
