Very nice haul! I'm so glad that you are able to give those books a second life. I haven't heard the name Earle Stanley Gardner in a while. You found such a nice variety, and those plastic covers are great. I found Through A Glass Darkly at a library sale a couple of years ago. I paid $5 for a bag of books and that was one I put in there. I love it. I thought the video and audio were good. A lot of great finds today.

I sometimes think Mary McCarthy is not read as much as she should be because she'll tell you, in her matter of fact fashion, who are the Trotskyists and who are the Stalinists among the Western authors. (lol) Certainly it's upfront in Chronicles
