Due to lack of tutorials on how to actually use bolt in efficient way. It's easier to just learn c#... Bolt is okay for fast prototyping or making hypercasual games but anything more than that... just stick to C# it's alot more beneficial to you, and if you are already established artist just focus on learning C#. Bolt will almost take same amount of time to digest.

Looks as useful as Unreals Blueprints .. I am just now jumping to Unity, I hope the documentation for bolt is good. Its the reason Im giving Unity a chance

I was excited for this until i found out about bolt 2. from the interface to the features, i'm just waiting for the next update to hopefully see that

Visual scripting seems like a novel idea but in practice it feels like you need to know all the components names that you need to work with and also how to set up the logic, execution and flow, so you might as well just write it then because its faster? I just don't see the argument to use bolt, or even how its "easier" than just writing the script, C# syntax is very simple and clean and probably even easier to digest than a huge visual graph. Maybe I'm missing something. Thanks for the tutorial though.

4:15 You must to activate Convex and Is Trigger in Mesh Collider for TriggerZone. I didn't see that in the video and I'ts very important!!

I'm finding the Bolt search engine doesn't work (just spins wheels) if you menu-dive more than twice; and variables and stuff just never self-populate in drop-downs like you would expect them too. I thought it was supposed to be more robust than this.

I really wanted to follow this tutorial but the project you are using does not come by default the way you are using it. I tried to follow the tutorial to get the project where you have it but that is outdated just as much as the project was by default. Shame really. I would love to get a new set of tutorials for visual scripting for the new visual scripting system in 21 and later.

How is performance of the graph? It looks like bolt v1 which has many problems.

Awesome tutorial. Have you considered never using these particular assets ever again though? I mean....they look so bad. Great tutorial though. Very informative and well paced.

is that input key down really using a hard coded key and not using the unity input system? please...how patchwork is this engine supposed to become
Visual scripting is surely a great addition but it needs to be really integrated and not left half baked like so many other elements
