Some great tips here! Vaseline is an absolute must. Imitation dog biscuits are great too, I like to soak them in something sweet. These are the two main things that seem to get carp hoovering it in rather than questioning and spooking off!

Honestly didn't think I'd get much out of that video but that was very informational. I'm going to modify that rig and method for the materials that I have then take it to a local pond that's home to some 50lb mirror carp.
