This year will be my first Ramadan in Islam. I was a bit scared but listening to Mufti Menk makes me yearn for it. I’m so happy and humbled to be a Muslim. 😢I am came from a religious family ..a Roman Catholic my late mom and my sisters was a good servant in
our church.I was given a chance to became a Muslim last 2010 in Kuwait since then till now I feel more blessed and near to Allah SubhanaAllah wa TaAllah..They always asked me why i became Muslim..and I replied them " Why just now I became Muslim " AlhamduliLlah I always asked Allah SubhanaAllah wa TaAllah to keep me on the right fath .I have a great fear to exit in this world that I have not obey His rules . Asalamualikum, I went to this lecture yesterday, his recitation of the verses of the Quran really touched my heart. The way he delivers Islamic knowledge is amazing and honestly making me want to become a better person. Just him relating and connecting with people of all ages with his humour makes more people want to listen to him. SubhanAllah, I saw so many young people like myself attend the lecture and it is a blessing to see the ummah being brought together with the teachings of the Quran. May Allah make this Ramadan a blessed one for the ummah and May Allah forgive all of our sins and In’sha’Allah make us all a better muslim. In’sha’Allah we should unite as Muslims and one ummah so that all us brothers and sisters can be reunited in Jannah. Ameen. And also let’s not be tourists/strangers in our own religion let’s gain as much Islamic knowledge as we possibly can before, during and after Ramadan and become the true believers we were made to be, Ameen.
