It’s really easy to get rid of the mold in your bathroom. You might find this in your tub or sink from excess water build up. Use a silicone caulking. #simplediy #bathroomdiy #diytips

Just a tip.... fill the bathtub with water and then caulk. Having some weight helps and the sealant will last a lot longer and not crack.

I spray tilex (bleach) in the crevices of the tub. Let it sit for a while, then use the blow dryer to evaporate and push out any excess water. Also really important to get as much of the old caulking out of the crevices as well. Good video. Thanks

Top Tip - if the caulking isn’t too old or damaged, soak a bunch of toilet paper in bleach and squish it up against the mouldy bits. Leave for an hour or two, rinse off and it’ll be as good as new. Saves having to totally swap it out so often. Cheers! 😊

I made a very big mistake since I didnt know at first, at my new apartment, the walls in the bathroom was breeding mould sage. I went and just painted it white and now I don’t know if i should just wait for it to regrow again before using mould remover?
The apartment had a problem with the ventilation, stark temperature drops and high humidity levels, maybe bcz i live in the third floor building, up there is just crazy.

The mold will come back because it’s most likely behind the tiles in the wall. That’s why you’re not supposed to install the wallboard on the tub but rather on top of the tub lip!

Try a DIY bleach and baking paste and cover with serám wrap and leave it for an hour
