It seems like sociopaths are more volital and explosive and psychopaths are more calculated and manipulative. Both lack empathy, seem self centered and scary.

A sociopath will punch you the second they get mad, a psychopath will wait for the right moment to knock you down.

So i myself keep to myself. Even at work.
I dont like been thrown into other ppl drama.
Small talk with strangers is exhausting.
But i love everyone i just dont want to be bothered all the time. I enjoy the quiet in my mind.
Many people see that as shady behavior. Its really not.

I think I'm a psychopath with a little bit of sociopath traits like for example I'm hot headed sometimes but most of the time I have a controlled behavior and I'm cool and calculating

Sociopaths end up in prison, psychopaths remain free

So I think I’m high functioning.. because I have almost all of the traits of the sociopath except I can receive empathy from my love ones. If I notice they are having a strong emotional feeling, then I force myself to try and put myself in their shoes and if I end up feeling what they’re feeling about it then I recognize that as empathy.. but only because I’ve done a lot of research on empathy and feelings to understand what it is because I honestly lack empathy and remorse and I’ve always felt like I needed to understand it to become a better person.. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s as a small child and all the trauma and abuse I went through as a child to teen turned me into having sociopathic traits. But it’s hard for me to admit to being a sociopathic, only to being on the spectrum.. 🦋

My psychopath neighbors are trying to steal part of my property thru adverse possession. They lie and trespass and lie again. They have not left their home more than a couple hours a week over the past four years, so they can watch me come and go and trespass while I am away. They have contractors install buried drain pipes to help make their claim. They hire all my outdoor contractors so they can ask them questions about my property and projects and hire them to do things for them on my land. They use their dog to harass me from going in the part of my property they plan to steal. The woman let me know this. The man just stares and smirks. They have two kids. The daughter knocks other little kids on the ground from behind. Psychopathy runs in the family.

What about someone who tries to please others so much that he stopped caring about himself until he broke? In a way, others' happiness is his happiness, while others' sadness is his sadness. While he himself can't feel anything for himself. In other words him saving and pleasing others even if it means he was being used like a tool and then thrown away like trash was his own salvation.
What was the diagnosis of his personality?

Sociopathy is an old term that was introduced to describe behaviors that deviate from social norms or are harmful in nature.

The term psychopathy was introduced in 1923 by Kurt Schneider, who described abnormal personalities that were harmful either to themselves and/or to others. This means that psychopathy is just an older term for what is now known in the ICD-10 as a specific personality disorder.

Ok, let's say a psychopath doesn't have any feelings, so why would it cause him/her to pursue power? IMO it's just a imagination of people who are either fascinated with psychopaths or use it as excuse for not having much power themselves. For most intelligent people, and I suspect people with less emotions should be more intelligent, chasing power is never an ultimate goal (or any at all). Also I think psychopathy is much more common in some countries. For example in my country I don't know many people who would ever love anybody.. not sure if it's cultural or genetic thing, but for sure this is true
