Hot take here, like I get Guts invented the sword/cloak look but idk I found him to look better in the golden age arc. Idk I actually like his helmet and og sword a lot. But I will appreciate that the anime feels like it’s about two different people. It’s so human in that going through these things without dying changes someone so horrifically. The sufferer. When skullknight first said that, I understood what that really meant. Berserk isn’t just a manga, it is truly an artistic masterpiece of raw emotion.
