yes you would still do the same. cuz after you solve it you have x=-1 plug the one in for x and you get -1 plus 10 which is 9. the square root of 9=3. it still works :) you just have to think about it a little more

How do I get rid of the negative if i have square root of 2x-5 then have a +10 on the same side?

if i were to have 2x+x√3=33 with exact answers, how would i get that, because i can get it in a decimal, but its not good enough

√(42-A) = A. I already know that A = 6... you can just tell. But I don't know how to write the steps out. (instead of just guessing). Can you please help?
