Hi guys, in today’s video, I will be sharing one of my career episodes with you guys. Any engineer looking to get assessed by Engineers Australia can get a full insight into a career episode by watching this video.

This career episode is related to the fields of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering but any engineer can watch this video to learn everything about a Career Episode.

Just follow the tips and the format I have shared in the video to get a successful outcome against your CDR.

The sole purpose of making this video is to educate you guys on how a career episode is written, what is the format, and what are the rules and regulations you must abide by before submitting your Competency Demonstration Report (CDR).

Career Episode is surely the most important part of your CDR where you get to demonstrate your Engineering knowledge and skills in front of the assessor.
Guys, you can either make a career episode of your educational project or a project that you were part of during your employment.
Furthermore, make sure you have gone through the eligibility criteria of the Competency Demonstration Report Pathway before writing your CDR.

Thanks for your sharing of experience with CE! I have just submitted mine to EA last week, now I’m waiting for the outcome. As you have emphasised many times in your video, don’t do plagiarism by all means! It’s absolutely the most important thing for each applicant to keep in mind, otherwise, you will be banned by EA for a long time, or even permanently.

What i can do about this below comments from Australia engineer

Although you did not apply for the relevant skilled employment, as this Career Episode was based on a work project, you are requested to provide a Reference letter/Certificate of employment from the employer (on official company letterhead, stating your title/position, duties, commencement and termination dates of employment, signed and dated by your supervisor) to evident the project or the work experience.

 

I have identified inconsistency on the project duration of your project between your career episode and employment duration in your CV. Please explain and clarify.

I actually want to know my stand on CDR application for Engineers Australia.

My situation is that; I have a degree in civil engineering but I don't have experience there.

On the other hand, I some practical knowledge in electrical engineering, and I even have some reasonable years of work experience and I can also base my career episodes on the experience I have gathered so far in my career.

I also did a vocational training in Electrical and Electronics technology where I got City & guilds certificates on the individual courses I did.
