A good head is the head from the armored Batman trike, the one that came with his dog has the red eyes and a hood mouth that wouldn’t need a sticker because the closed mouth

Cut the holes smaller than needed, then finish the edges by burning them. It’ll take up some of the fabric, making the holes bigger. But it’ll also make the whole thing less likely to unravel later.

If you use 'liquid hem' or similar right after cutting fabric it should reduce fraying.

I trick I learned is if you want durability a drop of super glue where the arm holes are makes them easy to cut and with mini figure movement the fabric doesn't fray

You could try to make the collar down on the coat, 🧥 the veteran rangers don’t have collars and having the extra cloth folded down would make it more accurate. Just a thought🤷🏻

Instead of modifying an already existing head you should just use the head of the dark Troopers that came out in the Star Wars sets a couple years back, it could add a lot of details that you might have missed, plus it adds those red eyes you were looking for and on top of that it's mostly black

I would look better with a custom head piece, but with official lego piece's. It's pretty good 👍

I suggest cutting the part of the gas mask off that sticks out to make it look better. But it looks awesome
